Instructor Profile

Shihan Daniel Don Jacob Jr.
6th Dan Black Belt

Shihan Daniel started martial arts at the early age of three and is the son of Professor Don Jacob, Founder of the Don Jitsu Ryu Fighting Arts. After years of rigorous training, Shihan could imagine no greater pursuit than helping others to realize their full potential through the martial arts.

Although Shihan has competed at major Martial Art Games and has won numerous world championships, Shihan’s true passion is in shaping and building strong positive youth and adults. Shihan’s fun loving and energetic personality creates a positive training environment at the dojo. On May 24, 2008, the “World Head of Family Sokeship Council” inducted then-Sensei Daniel Jacob into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame for his “Outstanding Contribution to the Martial Arts.”

In the future we plan to include links to other martial arts so that our students can understand their place in the history of martial arts. Students of any martial art should be aware of other martial arts such as Karate, Jiu Jitsu, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Pankration, Kung Fu, Wu Shu, and the various other forms that exist.
